OUR KK TRIP - part I
|
|
Salaam all ...... life is so unexpected. The 1st day I came back to work, I was told that I got full trial that week. There goes my much enjoyed leave ...... back to work routine, witness statements, attending clients, court attendances, filing, preparatios for trial, etc etc.....
But to my surprise, I kinda enjoy it. Kinda miss it so much that I just couldn't stop doing it. Only after I was reminded by my dear Hubby, I stopped just for a while. Then, I remember stress is not always about LOAD of WORKS or TONNES of ASSIGNMENT..... but about ATTITUDE, TIME MANAGEMENT and ENJOYING YOUR LIFE AND/OR CAREER TO THE FULLEST.
Ok, enuff bout my work as I m so happy that finally, I can feel that I have overcome the unnnecessary emotions and pressure. It's like coming to work after an interview. Starting fresh and alive!!!!!
Here are some pics of our last holiday trip to KK. Believe it or not, I've been staying in Miri for ages, for life, but only got the chance to visit our neighbouring state last December. Of course my lovely heroes yg paling excited. Abang punye statement confident was:-
"Besarnyer Gunung Kinabalu nih, jom naik Ummi" 
But, honestly, the moment I saw Gunung Kinabalu yg tersergam megah dan indah, terasa sangat betapa kerdilnya kita ni di atas bumi ALLAH SWT. Subhanallah ......
The scenarios, the people, the food are so great, so beautiful. Sempat gak singgah kat Kundasang where I was sooooooooooooooooo tak tau nak angkut apa lagi, just imagine, the fresh tomatoes, kailan, mushrooms, celleries, sweet peas, everything are so fresh!!!!! So cheap!!!!! I brought back two big boxes full of veges and fruits. Hmm... next trip kena la borrow my bro's PRADO or probably a convoy trip. So, watch out for my next post, KK TRIP part II ..... see ya all .....

Salaam ya all ..... to Zai & Ida Isk .... sori comment yg u both bagi tuh was out before this entry was completed .... hehehe
Nih actually photos kept in my library .... gambar² masa kenduri masuk our HOME SWEET HOME held on the 7th day of last Aidilfitri. Kat Sarawak biasanya kitorang panggil kumpulan marhaban utk memohon keberkatan dan dlm masa yg sama memeriahkan lagi kenduri. So, memandangkan my eldest bro-in-law baru dpt baby boy, kitorang masukkan sekali acara cukur jambul utk baby Ariff Putra. Cute nyer Ariff ......
Rasa terharu gak ramai yg datang kenduri, most of them were from my family side and my hubby's side .... all my brothers & sisters came with their family and my aunty all the way from Igan, Sibu pun datang. Thanx Udak for the lovely kelupis. Thanx Kak Rose for the yummy food .....

IM & T FAMILY DAY 2008

Salaam......
My unpaid leave dah nak sampai ke penghujung dah, but I only managed to update 7 entries in 4 months. Itu la x baik buat janji lepas tu x mampu nak tunaikan... hehehehe......
Nih nak kongsi ckit citer me & family gi dinner last week. It's actually my hubby's department's annual family dinner.
The most interesting part was the theme. Normally they set up their own committee which will choose a theme for the dinner. So, this year the theme is "DENIM".
As for Mr Jemain's beautiful happy family, these were US dressed up in denim.
This was our table, and as usual ADEQ is Ummie's Boy ...  
and ABANG is Ayah's Joy......
There're 45 tables .......
Look at ABANG's hairdo .... (specially styled by Ayah) He's so excited .....
And this is my fav cute little bunny ...... hensemkan ini budak..... 
Jeng jeng jeng..... dengan tidak disangka².....  Abang & Adeq were nominated for the dinner's award, BEST DRESSED BOY .....

Before they chose the winner, the nominees had to do some "catwalk" to get the biggest applause.... Adeq was very "muker slumber"...     As if it was only at home.....
AND THE BEST DRESSED BOY IM & T DINNER 2008 AWARD GOES TO  
RIEFHAN JAWAHEER!!!!!!!......  Yes!!! Abang won it!!!   Nasib baik ada hadiah saguhati tau, kalau tak, abih la kena amuk dengan ADEQ.....

And this is for the most handsome guy of mine.... ABANG 
As for the lucky draws, even tho there were 60 prizes offered, none of them were ours.....  But, tell u, we really had a good time and am happy that ABANG & ADEQ had a very beautiful memory to be remembered

SARAWAK LEGAL YEAR 2008

Ola & Salaams....... If I May Please.....
Yeahh.... I m still on unpaid leave.... but a courtesy call from my colleague finally made me decided to join the Opening Ceremony of Sarawak Legal Year which was 1st ever held in Miri. Risau gak at first, coz my bp was not good lately. So, the very 1st thing I did yesterday was taking my Norvasc pill before solat Subuh. (Didn't wanna make a scene during the procession) X pasal2 lak kang kena masuk ambulans.
After sending my 2 little boys to kindy, my hubby sent me to Imperial Hotel from which the procession started. The attendance was very very good. This is the only time where us junior lawyers couold gather and have some chats with senior and as well as super duper senior lawyers. At 1st me and my fav bro S dah baik punya rundingan to be in the same row, tetiba jer organising committee announced, "Please take a row of three, according to your Roll Numbers!!!" Alaa boring nyer, nasib baik ada My best Super Mommy in front of me x la boring sangat.
The opening of the Legal Year have some bearing to the age-old tradition of the courts of the UK. The commemorative procession commenced at 9.00 a.m., upon the arrival of the Chief Justice of Sabah & Sarawak. We had to walk about 1 km properly dressed up (Court attires) to the Court Complex. Panas wooo..... Then, the procession arrived at the main entrance of the Miri Court Complex. After the photography session, The Right Honourable The CJ of the High Court of Sabah & Sarawak together with the Hon Justices, Judicial Commissioners, Judicial and Legal Officers and us the Advocates proceeded to the Open Court. The ceremony began with the Address by

.:. The Senior Federal Counsel (representing the Federal A.G of Malaysia)
.:. Response from the The Right Honourable The CJ of the High Court of Sabah & Sarawak
Then the ceremony ended at about 11.15 a.m. It was a great pleasure to be able to join the procession and the ceremony.

Salaam All...... dah almost two months jd fulltime housewife..... Almost desperate..... Never felt this great!!! This is beyond my expectation and imagination. So, everyday I've got the chance to try new recipe at home (my own home sweet home lak tuh) . Yesterday, my darling hubby called me from his workplace and told me that he bought daging and tulang rusa. Terkedu kejap, nak masak apa ek? Then he said, "Tulang tu masak kari boley?". Alamak, I've never tried this before. Ok, tulang masak kari, daging dia kita simpan utk masak lain plak.
So, dgn semangat yang berkobar², lauk pauk pun disediakan dgn jayanya. So, inilah menu hari ini.....

SELAMAT MENYAMBUT HARI ASYURA
Salaam semua, pejam-celik² dah 10 Muharram..... alhamdulillah, sempat puasa Asyura tahun nih. So, sempena hari Asyura nih, me & my darling Hubby memulakan hari dengan pi shopping groceries . Most importantly beli brg² asas. Pesan arwah mak, kalau ikut adat kebiasaan my family, pada hari Asyura nih, digalakkan utk beli gula, garam dan benang..... Dan, yg seelok-eloknya sebagai ketua keluarga, suami yang kena belikan utk family... simboliknya, rezeki yang berkat akan berpanjangan, Insya Allah.
Bila bercerita pasal hari Asyura nih, An nak kongsi citer pengalaman best An. 15 tahun yang lalu, semasa hayat arwah Mak & Bapak, my family memang menanti kedatangan hari Asyura nih. Arwah MAk & Bapak akan sentiasa mengingatkan kami utk sama-sama berpuasa sama ada pada 9 & 10 Muharram atau pada 10 & 11 Muharram. Lazimnya, kitorang akan berbuka sama2, yang paling best adalah bubur Asyura air tangan arwah Mak. Sedappp...... lepas tu solat berjemaah ke masjid di mana arwah Mak & Bapak akan ikut sama bersedekah dan kami akan ikut sama membaca surah yaasiin dan tahlil.
Sekarang, yang dapat dipraktikkan adalah puasa dan membeli barangan² asas bersama Hubby. Then, pi hantar sedekah kat surau dan rumah anak² yatim. Semoga Allah memberkati.......
Apa² pun, yang paling penting niat dan keikhlasan kita kepada Allah, sentiasa bersangka baik bahawa Allah menyayangi kita. Dan atas setiap perkara yang berlaku itu ada sebab dan hikmahnya yang Allah shj Yang Maha Mengetahui.
So, selain dari citer Hari Asyura, An nak kongsi gambar2 Hari Raya Aidilfitri yang lepas..... nak jelaskan hutang la nih .... heheheheh......

CERITERA ABANG.......
|

Hmmm.... Kak Pia dah tanyer dah.... ok.... baru 3 hari K. Pia... mana da lama... Wah K.Pia sudah jd supervisor skang, kena update cepat2 la ni... hehehe...... ok for you guys info... I am now on unpaid leave until end of February, and depends on surrounding circumstances and upcoming events, most probably An balik ofis early March, Insya Allah.
Orait, the reason behind it, my beloved Permata Hati, Mr Riefhan Jawaheer broke his right arm. What a horrible, sad and painful experience. It was on 4.12.2007 (school holidays kan?) Abang joined his cousins pi Taman Awam. I x joined cuz I was working. Then, I just came back from the office, we received a phone call from my nephy nangih2 asking me to cool down not to be panic. Yeah right.....  ... Then we were informed that Abang was sent to the hospital with my youngest Sis.
The worst part, my darling Hubby was not in Miri, he went to KK offshore . In fact, 3 days before that we went to KK together and me, Abang & Adeq balik Miri awal. Sampai jer kat hospital, I saw Abang on a wheelchair with his most painful look..... But, he was very strong.... He didn't cry at all!!!!! My poor Abang...... Then, after some x-rays it was confirmed that his right arm was broken and need to be hospitalised. I asked Abang, what actually happened, then he said, "Abang tgh main dgn B. Azeez, tetiba ada sorang budak ni, dia reverse teruuuuuuuuuuuuus x tengok Abang kat belakang, so, Abang pun nak elak, Abang jatuh, terus tangan patah" Abang then made a statement "Nasib baik tangan kanan yang kena, kalau tangan kiri yang patah, abih la, x leh main online games, Ha.... nanti Ummi jangan lupa letak gambar Abang jd Power Rangers nih tau bg kawan2 tengok online k?" Then, when the doctors nurses asked him, "RIefhan dah besar nak jadi apa?" Selamba dia jawab "Nak jadi doktor patah tulang"
Now, dah 1 month I've been looking after Abang. He is getting better and unexpectedly, he goes to kindy happily (of course with me waiting outside his class)...... Alhamdulillah..... and most importantly, Abang ni kidal....... And I just accept this as dugaan dari Allah, I know it's a difficult decision to go on unpaid leave, but my most beloved permata hati really needs me at this very difficult time, so, hopefully this is the best decision I've made. Tolong doakan yang terbaik utk kami yer.....
So, I dedicate this song to myself, my darling Hubby and to my beloved Abang.

I'M BACK..... SORRY FOR THE LONG WAITING

Salaam semua, 
Ok ok I know my super FP frens have been asking, guessing and anticipating for the long silent and "not replying". Ok, I've got all the lame excuses....  I've been so, very, too bz with my works,  we've been on holidays (lame again, as if I don have my laptop with me, and as if KK have no internet connection) , I've been sick  , Abg was hospitalised  and I am currently on 3 months unpaid leave.  So you guys, my super FP frens out there, Ouled, MamaFami, Kak Rinn, Hajjah, Fitto, Intan, Ida Natrah, Aliz Mie, Mr Jeff, sofu, Mrsapple, I promise..... lepas nih I will update every day (stress on the word "every") with all those "lame excuses" and citer2 baru. So, for the time being I am giving you the new update on our "THE VERY BEAUTIFUL HOME SWEET HOME OF MR AND MRS JEMAIN". 
If u ever wanna ask, "Why Blue?" Yes, the answer is "It's my Dearest Hubby's fav colour and he is the coolest fan of Chelsea FC" Ermmm.... any comment....???? Jgn lebey2 tau!!!!
So, till then will update the soonest..... Ooopss.... I won't be around for the next 3 days, as the whole family of all MY siblings are gonna have annual gathering "somewhere" .... will update on that later.... Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!!!!!!
